Robusta coffee is much cheaper on the than Arabica coffee. Therefore, coffee traded as "100% Arabica" must not contain any amonuts of Robusta coffee.
Using the substance "16-O-methylcafestol", the Tentamus Laboratory QSI in Bremen is able to prove whether a coffee contains traces of Robusta coffee and would thus be liable to mislead the consumer. Use this analysis to determine whether your coffee is really made up of the Arabica plant.
